EVENTS

In its 27th year, "Breyerfest brings together the horses that inspired the models for one unforgettable weekend!!"  Scheduled 7/22-24 at the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, ASHA expects 12 American Saddlebreds to take part in the demos - gaited, pleasure driving, FEI level dressage, eventing and a parade group. With over 10,000 guests expected, it's a great opportunity to showcase our breed!

Celebrity Family Feud episode scheduled to air on ABC July 17th. Carson Kressley and his family of Lehigh County, PA, will  compete against Paula Deen and her family.  Carson has owned and shown many world and national champion Saddlebred horses since the 1980s. Other family members include Diana Kressley Billig and her daughter, Morgan Billig. Both have owned and shown champion Saddlebreds. When host Steve Harvey asked family members what they did when taping the show, Diana mentioned that she  runs the family's 125-acre farm in Lynn Township where she owns and breeds American Saddlebred show horses - providing a great and unusual opportunity to promote the breed.
